Keeping errors at bay :: Four levels

Summary-
This essay is one of the shortlist of essay sketched by Bertand Russell. He deals with human situation committing the silly mistakes and provides the way to prevent us from it. To avoid the various foolish opinions to which mankind are prone he had declared some rules. It includes like making keen observation on any subject matter. Aristotle could avoid the mistake of thinking that women have fewer teeth than male if he would have observation on his wife mouth. The best way is to have experience ourselves. We can be aware on our own blast. We must be aware of ridding our self of certain kinds of dogmatism is to become aware of opinion held in social circles different from our own. We must also be aware of foreign custom. It is a good plan to imagine an argument with a person having different biases. Both men and women nine times out of ten are firmly convinced of superior excellence of their own sex. There are abundant evidences on both sides. Other passions besides self-esteem are common sources of error, of these perhaps the most important is fear. Fear is something operates directly, by inventing rumors of disasters in war time, or by imaginary objects of terror.

Interpretation- 
The main interpretation of this essay is to prevent people from committing some silly errors from day to day life. Making keen observation on subject matter having our personal experience, having a good plan and argument, self –esteem and fear helps people to avoid such errors. 

Critical thinking and Assimilation for most of the essay are not necessary !
